Wyldsky, was founded by front man and guitarist extraordinaire Tyler Nelson in 2006. A seasoned musician and song writer who, while playing guitars for the legendary rock band Great White (post Rhode Island fire catastrophe), to help them raise money for the families of the Station Family Fund, was contacted by the founder of Mandatory Music Group's Ivan Gospich, to do an album. Tyler agreed to do the album with Mandatory Music Group and started putting together an amazing ensemble of musicians to form Wyldsky. Tyler first contacted Michael Lesniak to be the drummer of Wyldsky, an extremely diverse percussionist with a passion for complex jazz fusion styles that was Tyler's favorite drummer he had ever seen and/or worked with. After Michael came aboard, Tyler was introduced to a Blues and Jazz legend bass guitarist named Steve Evans. Steve Evans at the time was touring with Blues cat Coco Montoya and was working with legends, such as Rick Derringer and Pat Travers and wanted to meet Tyler and hear some of his music. After they met in San Francisco, CA at the famous Blues club “The Saloon” and jammed together for hours, Steve Evans was on board as the bassist for the self titled debut album.

The musicians of Wyldsky are amazingly diverse. Tyler’s a true guitar virtuoso whom seamlessly transitions from any stringed instrument, a lot of people compare his electric guitar playing to Jeff Beck and he has a very potent soulful voice and sings his heart out, even at the rehearsals, which inspires the rest of the guys to perform at their full potential every time they get together, a lot of his fans call him the “White Jimi Hendrix”. He is very experimental, one time even tried throwing a Fender amplifier into a bath tub to capture what kind of sounds it makes to see if he can use it on one of the songs. Mike on the drums is like having John Bonham & Trilok Gurtu rolled into one, such grace and power in his playing. And Steve Evans on the bass, a very diverse player, no matter what type of bass it is, stand up, 5, 6 string or even a fretless, his intricate and consciously thunderous style is amazing. Too see these guys play live is not to be missed!

Press Release:  Wyldsky's debut CD's just arrived from pressing on 01/09/09, and these guys are starting to take flight. They have already had 3 of their harder tunes debuted on Morris Communications' “Head Bangers Ball” here in California and the program director there stated it was the best new rock music she has heard in years, and this past week we have had many major radio stations both in the US and Europe contact us via the web for CD's to start playing them, because of a myspace page we put up for them last month, i.e. www.MySpace.com/WYLDSKY

All of us here at Mandatory Music Group Inc. are extremely excited to be launching this debut album. A very dynamic album where no two songs sound the same and feature fantastic messages and musicianship. Songs like ‘Next World’, 'Dog Daze' & ‘Comin' on’ are nail-biting hard rock and others like ‘Where you belong" & "My Baby" that are feel good rock songs everyone can relate too, and moving inspirational songs like ‘Rendezvous’ and ‘Nightmare and Dream’ that all facets of music listeners will grasp. Every song is great!
