 Niko was born and raised in Athens, Greece.
Niko's first solo performance was at the age of 12. As a teenager, Niko played quitar and was lead singer in a band called "The Makers". The Makers played in local theaters and clubs in Athens, Greece. During those performances, kids used to brake everything, chairs, etc.
Post "Makers", Niko was lead singer for "The Jaguars", a top rock band in Greece. The band appeared in numerous top clubs in Athens, including "On the Rocks", "Delta", etc., and had several outdoors concerts. The Jaguars also appeared on national Greek television and movies.
Niko's voice is a blend of David Bowie -Jim Morrison and U-2's Bono. Niko wrote the lyrics, and composed-arranged the music in the "LA Town Colors" CD. Niko is a self-taught musician...
MORE on Niko: Post Jaguars, Niko moved to the US and studied art, economics, health and medical research; specialties are in HIV-AIDS, HCV, Influenza, CAP-AOM-COPD, sepsis and currently working on Alzheimers and multiple sclerosis.
Niko has 4 college degrees from UR, MCV/VCU, CUNY, including a PhD, and did post-doc work @ Harvard and other institutions. He has published over 30 scientific-medical papers in peer reviewed medical journals...
Niko lives in Los Angeles and Del Mar, California...

Niko Shows His LA Town Colors
Niko Sings About The Night Life of LA...The Athens, Greece native is a doctor that does medical outcomes research, races Porsche, plays great rock music, and poses with the Playmate of the year for kicks.
As Keith "MuzikMan" Hannaleck puts it: right out of the gate with "China Girl," I heard Bowie, not because of the title of the song, its Niko’s voice that struck me as very 70s classic rock with a cool "LA Woman" vibe. Yes, he sounds like Morrison too. On top of all that, the dude can really play the six-string. When you put all of these wonderful qualities together you have one hell of an album, it rocks straight on through until the closer "My Stardom."
I really like the overall energy and quality of this album, its consistent, entertaining and just a very "right on" representation of the Southern California culture and nightlife. Occasionally someone walks out of the shadows and into the spotlight to grab your attention; Niko has done that was this listener. Check him out…you will love this music.
