 Attica are a super tight
Midlands based Rock/Pop band, the group consists of James Berryman - Lead
vocals/Guitar, Adam Wright - Bass, Tom Hill - Drums, Chris Ammons - Lead
Guitar/Backing vocals and collectively the group offers an amazing ability
to produce timeless Rock/Pop songs. The resonance this group creates fits
into all aspects of the new wave of best of British Rock bands coming
through. Formed out of friendships through the years the band is evolving
into one of the foremost forces in the Rock/Pop scene. At the helm of the
recordings was Paul Weller, Ocean Colour Scene and The Specials' producer
'John Rivers. This makes the group even more formidable as they really know
each other and their respective talents. The group's vision is to take its
sound worldwide and to catapult their music as a world respected force. The
band recently won 'Best New Music' award at the BBC Short Film Premier. They
have played all over the UK through-out 2006. Attica are scheduled to
release their Single in October 2007 via A List Records, with the Album to
follow shortly after!! Attica Discography Early 2005 the band won a national
Battle of the Bands' competition, earning them the right to record the theme
music to the 2005 British Rally Season aired on European satellite station
Sky Sports 2. Attica have previously independently released 4 EP's: 2001
"The crash" 2002 "Do you feel like living" 2003 "Static" 2007 "Painting
pictures with words" 'Painting Pictures With Words' EP, with sales currently

STATIC The bands DVD, which is currently being worked on, is also in it's
closing stage. It so far includes live footage, interviews with some close
and personals of the band, and studio footage from Woodbine. Interviews with
the band are expected to be added, along with practice footage and
out-takes.

Attica release the Painting pictures with words EP
Attica - a dynamic, super tight melodic rock quartet, signed to A List Records - have released their debut EP produced by John Rivers (Ocean Colour Scene, Paul Weller) Painting pictures with words is digitally released via Itunes, Rhapsody, Napster, FYE, Puretracks and all good digital stores, the EP has been well received having sold over 5,000 units touring over the last year.
Painting pictures with words is to be released via digital download stores worldwide on Monday, June 25th 2007.
