Back on March 2008 Spanish guitar player Miguel Gayarre - MG71 & Braindead Zero – and Swedish vocalist/guitar player Robin Lundgren - Robeeo, joined forces after meeting on myspace…it took them less than 24 hours to start recording their first album together and that’s how
powerdrive was born . After 4 months or hard work at their studios ( Madrid, Spain and Stockholm ,Sweden ) they completed their first album ,
Freedom Of Speech, that has been released on March the 11th worldwide by Killzone Records. Back to the roots of metal. Powerful guitars with killer riffs , tons of groove, tight drums, shredding leads and on top of that one of the most amazing metal voices that you will ever hear. A perfect blend of old and new school metal . Powerful and heavy instrumentals combined with melodic vocals. You will find influences of some of the greatest metal bands ever like Pantera, Metallica, Alice in Chains, Anthrax or Testament. This is what real metal is about.
