Pop punk potency erupts from the speakers when Stewart (Andrea Tarka, Johnny White, Saysha Heinzman, and Ryan D'Angelo) hits your ears. This high energy artist crafts songs with catchy accessibility but informed by intelligence and creativity. These original yet classic songs speak to every rock fan.
Stewart discovered music as the perfect medium for sharing thoughts and emotions the audience is the recipient of open-hearted, potent songs that convey the true ideas burning in the minds of these musicians. “Writing and playing music is the only way I've ever learned to honestly express what I'm thinking and what I'm feeling, no matter how childish, painful, socially unacceptable or taboo,” says Tarka. Part of Stewart's appeal is forthright attitude and the sheer sense of liveliness and fun.
Stewart graced the stage of CBGB's twice before it closed its doors for good and also performed several times at the late, great Continental. The group has been featured in L Magazine and won best female vocal and best melody awards at Garageband.com. Stewart completed their debut effort, “Jawbreaker,” recorded live at the band's rehearsal space. It's the epitome of DIY fervor and self-made skill. "Existing at Extremes," their latest EP, is now available on CDBaby.com. |

Brilliant, Myspace.com
My new pals are inspiring and brilliant. Play on dear friends, play on...
Buy this song! Garageband.com
Finally female vocals in the punk genre. That earns you plenty of points with no further effort. The fact that they are well delivered adds to this rave review.
The instrumental delivery is nice and tight. Very professional sounding. I won't be surprised if this song is for sale (as opposed to being available for download for free) and I will be surprised if I don't find myself buying it.
I wanna rush through the next review to go and download all your songs. Now!
Love That Sound, Garageband.com
The style that you present is awesome. The vocals are awesome and very clean, not just thrown into the song, the tones of the guitars are very nicely mixed, the drums also very nicely mixed and consistant. And the breaks in the music and cover of the vocals made me just want to hear more and more.
Thank you.
Infectious, Myspace.com
Their songs are fun, kickass punk/pop/alternative rock that deal with heavy subjects but with an upbeat, aggressive energy that is absolutely INFECTIOUS.
Lot of Fun, Nefarious Bovine Radio
They are a fun band to see live. Stewart- lot of fun.
