When Planets Align Releases Debut EP Album "Radio Silence"
When Planets Align has released their debut album "Radio Silence"
this month, featuring the singles "Hey Gwen!" about Mark's high school classmate
Gwen Stefani and No Doubt members, and its retro-80s sound and style.
Other tunes with hit potential include "Radio Silence" with its rockin' riffs and solos expressing transitions in times of economic downturn, and the Spanish-influenced "General Santa Anna" about the notorious Mexican general and the autumn winds that bear his name and wreck havoc in the American Southwest.
Since its preview this month, the EP has already gained positive publicity from Boom Boom Chik blog, Global1FM radio (Virgin Media), Indie Revolution Show (Long Island, NY), Banana Peel Radio Show (Vancouver, Canada) and other media outlets.

Biography: --- Mark Nguyen (aka "Mark Equinox" originally from Vietnam), Jacqueline Van Bierk (aka "Pinkstar" from Germany) and Juan Lizarazo (aka "Johnny Heaven" from Colombia) came together in the spring of 2009 out of coincidence and destiny.
Mark quit his former corporate job to focus on music and songwriting, and came into orbit with Jacqueline through vocal lessons and Juan through music production classes at UCLA. Together, they recorded the first single "Hey Gwen!" about Gwen Stefani and No Doubt, who Mark went to high school with in the late 1980s in Anaheim, California. They discovered they had rare and cosmic chemistry, and recorded five more songs for their debut EP album "Radio Silence" coming September 2009!
