Devlin Miles, a New York City based singer-songwriter, who rocks like a Sarah McLachlan, Sheryl Crow, Pat Benatar smoothie for the soul, recently placed 1st out of 536 bands to open for Bon Jovi. She is an accomplished songwriter, who has won accolades for her song "The Camera Fades" regarding 9/11 and for “This Guy”, which received an honorary mention by the Billboard World Song Contest, and voted in the Top 10 on Ourstage.com. Miles’ first EP Miles To Go has sold out and is currently out of print. Autumn’s Fires her latest release has been gathering momentum for Miles’ and has allowed her to reach fans on a much more intimate level as she sings about love, loss, and derelicts. She is a BMI affiliated songwriter, a member of the Recording Academy, and a New York Songwriter’s Circle Member.
Miles’ has performed at legendary venues in the city such as The Bitter End, Rockwood Music Hall, and Kenny’s Castaways. She has crossed the world to play in Hyde Park, Sydney, AU at the Gay Games and has performed in the NYC MEANY Fest. She is an avid supporter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and will be opening the Out of Darkness walk this year with her song “The Extra Mile” as she launches into the “Autumn’s Fires” Northeast regional tour. She will be debuting in Canada for the first time this November.
Her influences range from Tina Turner, Sarah McLachlan, Eurythmics to Guns-n-Roses and Journey. Artists on her frequently played list include Pink, Missy Higgins, The Script, Jason Mraz, Nickelback, and Audioslave to name a few.
