Fuel dripping exhausts, tire smoke and V8 rumble. That´s what best describes Lou Siffer and the howling demons. With roots in both rock n’ roll and heavy metal as well as punk rock and thrash metal Lou Siffer and his demons delivers hot and heavy hits that will peak the mood at every party. This is a band that ooze of full speed ahead rock n’ roll!
Lou Siffer and the howling demons was formed i Uppsala, Sweden, in 2008. In 2009 a 7” single and a video for ”The Mosher” were released. In the summer of 2010 Lou Siffer and the howling demons played Sweden Rock Festival.
On the 29th of January Lou Siffer and the howling demons released their debut album ”The Devil’s ride”, which will set the bar a bit higher for their colleagues in the genre.

"Forget that this music comes from Sweden, this is a Detroit-fueled, mega-tons of muscle car, head-on collision to the face of brutal punk-infested garage stomp. Exhaust blows out of the bands nostrils like some devil-spawned hot rod revving at the green line. Hide your daughters, your girlfriends, your neighbors . . . crap, hide your whole town. When Lou Siffer and the Howling Demons come to town nothing but carnage and skid marks will remain. And beautiful carnage at that." - The ripple effect
"The Devil's Ride" jump-start with the first single "The Mosher" and from there it just accelerates. The first song that really stuck with me is track four "Legend". Now that's more like it! A steel guitar that directly evokes the DANZIG amazing "777". More punk rock feeling we get in "Gasser -55" and subsequent "Killing Is Fun" which sounds very very old MISFITS (forgive yet another comparison but it is a comparison made with love). "Under Attack" is a pure rockabilly and hell, I like it!
Despite numerous comparisons, which some would call rip-offs, I like the band's concept. "The Devil's Ride" is a magnificent album that just grows. Thanks guys, well done!"
