 Hard rock purveyor Time Well Wasted is a collection of musicians that believes in having fun but at the same time isn't joking around when it comes to making great music. Take your art seriously but make sure it’s a party-level blowout of energy erupting form inside the listener when the music takes hold of the ears. That simple ideal has served Time Well Wasted well. The band boasts hungry fans and an attention-getting sound!
Display of Emotions
Music can be tough but it’s always got to be tuned in to one’s emotion, otherwise the songwriting will suffer. “I feel that music should be just a display of emotions.” Music is here to function as translator, a portal through which the artist’s inner feelings can be changed into a form digestible by the audience. It’s communication of the human spirit. (And it’s fun.) Time spent listening to Time Well Wasted is time well spent. If you want to get your musical kicks and rock until your face falls off!
Everyday You-Know-What
“My influences are life, and just the everyday sh*t that happens,” says one member of Time Well Wasted. Life in, music out. We’re always feeding off the stimuli provided by our daily environment. A good band simply takes that stimuli and reforms it into awesome music. And that’s exactly what Time Well Wasted does. And they don’t go into convoluted, contrived creative contortions to accomplish it. “Music should be simple and catchy, songs that people can sing along to.” It’s a direct shot from the mind of Time Well Wasted’s membership to the ears of the audience. Not a single drop of power is diluted or lost along the way.
The Artist at Work
The band has performances scheduled for the near future and is also in the process of writing new music. In addition, Time Well Wasted is putting the finishing touches on its new album, “Thorns and Halos,” which is set for a fall/winter release. Time Well Wasted is currently working with A&R Select, the leading indie A&R firm in Hollywood, CA.
