Few bands can truthfully say that they have found "their sound". HalfBrother Sid is one of the fortunate ones. Formed in the spring of 1999, HBS set out to become one of the most well known and entertaining bands in the dominion area. Not only has HBS accomplished that, the name HalfBrother Sid also rings out in places far from their Richmond, VA roots. It is no wonder that people are taking to HBS&&.According to The Richmond Times Dispatch, "HalfBrother Sid puts on a great show, has fun onstage and their sound is terrific." With a rigorous gig schedule, frequent studio visits, and radio appearances, HalfBrother Sid has not only gelled as a band but with the fans as well. They are consistently gaining the respect of fans and other musicians up and down the East Coast.

It is said that every once in a blue moon, when the stars are aligned just right, a group of dedicated musicians come together to form what can best be described as "magical". This isnt the case with HalfBrother Sid, and frankly we think thats a load of crap. We do however love the music and word on the street is that the powerhouse known as HalfBrother Sid is the best to come around in a long time. HBS' story began with Brian and Scott, best of friends since they were hatchlings in 8th grade band class. After graduating college, settling down, and dabbling in music here and there, they decided that their musical talents were far too superb to be confined to the living room. After a few lineup changes, HBS has now hit their stride and is not looking back. Rounding out the lineup are Mike on bass, and Tony up front on the mic. We give the people a high energy, fun filled, exciting show they will never forget. .
