DARUNAM artists featured on new Vanessa Williams’ Film Soundtrack
May 2, 2007, New York, New York, Darunam lead singer Manu Narayan and guitarist/songwriter Radovan Jovicevic recently completed work on a featured song for the new Vanessa Williams film “And Then Came Love”. The song, “Have Me”, will be part of the soundtrack and is showcased on the movie trailer for this soon to be released production.
The Richard Schenkman film also stars Eartha Kitt and Ben Vereen and has completed shooting in Manhattan with a yet to be determined release date. The Comedy/Romance has been dubbed “A Little Movie with a Big Heart” and “Have Me” lends itself well to the overall feel of the movie. The song’s simple but memorable melody coupled with the gifted and subtly powerful singing of Mr. Narayan makes it one of the best tracks in the film.
Darunam was founded in New York City in early 2007 when two accomplished artists decided to dedicate themselves to a full time music project. The artists first met and performed at the 2006 Bollywood Fashion Awards and have never looked back. Their respective body of works has not only earned numerous awards but they have collectively sold over 5,000,000 records. Their new collaboration has created a unique Neo-World Pop/Rock sound that is destined for significant notoriety.
