A pop singer-songwriter, inspired by the Italian sounds of the 80s and 90s, which is not at his debut recording. In the recent past, he has been committed to the production of a CD single entitled "Amici non si resta" (We can not stay friends), produced by MBO music and promoted nationwide. Now he would like to propose a new piece entitled "Forse" (Perhaps), where his matured artistry is clearly shown. This new piece is not an end in itself, but an introduction to another new CD single and eventually a complete work containing 10 tracks. A work where one can hear the talent, the creative intuition and the original characteristics of the music and its texts. All this is supported by some wonderful arrangements, luxurious in its sounds, where his arranger Fabio Castorino has proved to possess an astounding creative spirit.
The piece "Forse" speaks of love, of stories that have been told before and that could belong to any of us. A love that apparently has ended and that is full of the misunderstandings which are sometimes created within a couple. The language which Valerio expresses in his songs is very simple, since the prerogative is to reach directly to the hearts of his listeners, using words and phrases which are common but never trivial.
The music instead is somewhat more complex, especially in its harmony, due to the classic preparation acquired over the years at the Conservatory where he studied the piano. His voice, warm and forceful with a Mediterranean timbre, has been refined over the years with the study of operatic and modern singing.
