 Andy was born in Southampton England and has been playing in various bands for around 20 years, in venues ranging from the smallest café bars to major fairs, Back in the early 90's Andy gave music a rest to study for his career, but missing it so much jumped back in playing with a few local bands doing the pub rounds, in the south of England. Andy most enjoyed the smaller more close venues where the audience where practically on the stage, "not only a lot of fun, but you really connect with the audience" he quotes.
Having played many covers ranging across genres such as heavy rock, punk, MOR just about anything from Pink Floyd to Van Halen, help Andy craft his passion.
Andy's main influences come from his heroes, Gary Moore, Mark Knofler, and Dave Gilmore. Others of his personal
favorites are Damien Rice album, Avril, Puddle of Mud, Jimmy Eats World, Hoobastank, Sting, He could go on and on, and in his own words there are really far too many to list!
The CD (One by One)
So how did that come about, Andy's 1st CD was called scrapbook, chosen as it was a collection of 12 songs written over his life collected in an audio scrapbook, this contained scribbled lyrics and chords sequences that changed greatly over the years, this CD was produced in very small numbers and was given to people to review/provide feedback. The intention was then to gather a band together, head to a recording studio, and record an album. This proved to be too much of a challenge with balancing a day job that required much travel, and in finding other musicians to
collaborate with. Undeterred, Andy chose to forge ahead by building a home recording studio, using an old PC, and an inexpensive soundcard. Andy then wrote the songs and recorded the 2nd album on his own, playing all the instruments, and adding vocals. The name One, came from the fact this was to be the 1st commercially available CD and all recorded by one person, friends on myspace started to refer to Andy as One, so later the CD was
entitled One by one...
Andy worked on his CD through 07' enjoying the creative atmosphere and ambiance of Crosshaven in Ireland where he was also working at the time. The CD tracks reflect a story, running through life, which he hopes you'll enjoy listening to.

Also along the way you get an insight into the man behind the lyrics and music. The words are from the heart and that's the best way to express them. The guitar playing, be it acoustic or electric, is absolutely awesome. When there are no words the emotions still come through the guitar.
