Real rock with real muscle is in store for those who brave the music of Outlett. This hard rock act boasts the ideal name, since its energetic music delivers to the listener a positive release for pent up aggression and for the artist it is the perfect mode of self-expression. In fact, Outlett's musical philosophy is simple. Says Outlett's Chastity Ashely of the band's music, it's “pure positive aggression.” Looks like the band is getting some catharsis along with the fan. Pure synergy! “The music creates an essence in which all that we've gone through or experienced can just radiate at its optimum because of the vibe that music emits. It allows us to be completely uninhibited and true to ourselves.” Part of the positivity that Outlett provides is that with the conversion of negative energy into positive through the power of hard rock, tensions are broken and people can come together under a banner of music. “It's the one time in which all barriers are broken and all is limitless.” It's the ultimate freedom and the path to strengthening one's spirit.
Every Journey
The beauty of music as self-expression is that it is a rare, sublime transaction of creative energy that allows for all facets of a person's existence to converge. “It is as though every journey, emotion, feeling and desire that goes into our everyday lives can be described in detail through music.” Beyond words alone, music is where intellectual ideas and emotional communication merge in a brilliant flash of artistic expression. The spectrum of human thought and feeling collides in a supernova. That's the profound focus of Outlett and its songwriting. “With music, we feel overwhelmed, exuberant, pained, loved, empathetic, inspired, troubled, motivated and more.” There's more than entertainment at stake here. Outlett wants to reach others and change lives. “Truly the most inspiring thing would be when someone says that our music helped change his or her life. Because what we're trying to do is actually inspire others to stand up for themselves when it comes to their passions and dreams.”
