"...a testament to Smith’s songwriting as well as the musicality and prowess of the group on the whole." - CE Skidmore, The Post Star

The Distractions hold the song up above all else. With over 300 under their belt, they know songs well. They are a band of brothers, having spent their entire lives together, playing, writing, recording, touring, and rocking together. As life moves forward and sideways, the music maintains, sustains, and permeates all. The SONG is the key.

The Distractions are professionals who do not allow the profession to interfere with the art... or the fun. The album, is fantastic. There are eleven songs, some rock hard, some are just a good time, and others softly carry you along. They all matter. And they're damn good.

Location: Queensbury, NY, USA
Description: In the tradition of Wilco, The Replacements, The Stones, The Beatles, and The Clash; this band runs the gamut from introspective pop, to alt-Country, to badass ROCK. With hooks enough for radio and smarts enough for real album rock fans.
