 Songwriters are Heidi & Michael Henriksen.
We are a duo who writes, sings and publish our own songs.
We've been writing our own music for several years, together and separately.
Our musical genre, in general, is soft pop and country-pop, with focus on good melody.
Our goal has always been to get our songs public and heard, so we have now chosen to self-finance our releases, without help from any label.
When we first started to write music together in 1998, it was by the name Enjoy.
This was our duo name for 10 years, while a lot of our demos were made. As Enjoy, some of our songs were played on local radio stations. We also got an article in the local paper.
Enjoy was put aside in 2002, when starting a party trio, who played cover songs at weddings, birthdays and celebrations.
In 2005, our trio became a duo called Sikken Fest (What A Party), and today, Sikken Fest remains very popular in the party business playing cover music for the adult public at private celebrations.
In 2008, we started working on our own music again and decided to self-finance a number of songs. With a fresh start, we decided to change our name from Enjoy to Songwriters, which we believe tells a lot about our music having our songs build around a good melody.

Songwriters – out with new Christmas single
The Danish duo Songwriters (Heidi & Michael Henriksen) is now ready with a brand new Christmas song, which hopefully will bring along lots of Christmas spirit.
Forever Christmas is a pop Christmas song with focus on good melody and of course a lot of joy and holiday spirit.
Lyrics, music and arrangement is written by Heidi & Michael, who has also made the whole production and the releasing of it.
Earlier this year Songwriters released their first single Someday Soon, which is a country-pop song. Someday Soon was recorded partly in Denmark and partly in Nashville.
There’s a lot more to wait for from the Danish duo Songwriters, who’s planning to release more good melodic pop and country-pop songs.
